If so, AXON Clinical Studies (CS) is seeking an experienced Account Manager who is a proactive and dedicated team player looking to take on greater day-to-day responsibility for client account management. This position reports to the team in London, UK.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day manager on targeted patient and HCP programs - from mandate definition to budget development through to invoicing – all while ensuring timely delivery to client deadlines
  • Develop client relationships and manage direct client interaction
  • Supervise project work completed by junior staff, and ensure senior staff receive regular project updates
  • Present AXON’s credentials at both formal and informal meetings
  • Continued learning about clients to better understand their goals and business strategies
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional services, expand existing client mandates
  • Work with senior team members in development and tactical implementation of clinical research programs
  • Understanding of ICH GCP, privacy legislation, Rx&D guidelines, and other local and international regulations relating to industry that allows for high quality and compliant management of projects
  • Ability to proofread material with a high degree of accuracy

Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A University degree
  • Science degree or related academic qualification(s)
  • A background in a consulting position within clinical research, pharmaceutical industry, medical communications,
  • Superior knowledge/expertise of the principles and practices of adult education; expertise in clinical trial management; current events, trends and issues within social media, impact on the industry and their impact on AXON CS and our clients
  • Ability to establish client service objectives and create a plan to fulfill these objectives
  • Intermediate presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proficient in a range of computer applications, including the MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accounts to high standards of service, on time, on strategy and within budget limits
  • Ability to prepare internal and client correspondence, briefing documents, meeting agendas, draft presentations, and minutes with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Ability to travel as client mandates dictate
