Our Clinical Studies team is seeking an experienced Engagement Strategist to work across our portfolio of clinical operations and medical affairs clients. This is a critical role that supports the team in developing strategies that not only reach but also engage meaningfully with audiences.
As an Engagement Strategist, you will:
- Design, execute, and optimize world-class engagement strategies with healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, caregivers, and other stakeholders
- Play a crucial role in shaping the activation strategy solutions and enhancing our engagement and digital capabilities for our clinical studies and medical affairs clients
- Be a go-to expert for designing and leading strategic aspects of client projects that drive engagement
- Collaborate with multiple teams across AXON and our network to deliver innovative high impact solutions

Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and Account Teams to develop comprehensive engagement strategies that align with the clients’ goals and objectives
- Collaborate with our internal insights team to develop the optimal recommendations
- Develop briefs and provide leadership in coordinating and overseeing an array of projects and tactics to ensure translation of plans into appropriate action
- Create communication plans and omnichannel approaches that target and address the needs of diverse audiences, including study site teams and other HCPs, patients, caregivers, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to coaching and mentoring other team members on engagement and digital strategy skills
2. Business Development and Client Relationships:
- Build relationships with clients as a key strategic partner
- Drive the identification of new and innovation solutions that grow the breadth and depth of our work with clients
- Participate as the engagement lead on new business pitches
3. Digital and Content Strategy:
- Lead the development of omnichannel recommendations (digital and non-digital channels)
- Bring expertise to project teams on digital channels, including paid and owned media, social media, websites, and Customer Relations Management (CRM)
- Monitor digital trends and implement innovative strategies to enhance audience engagement
- Work closely with Manager, Content and Editorial to drive effective content strategy
4. Data Analysis and Measurement:
- Define measurement plans and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of engagement strategies and collaborate with analytics colleagues
- Analyze data and metrics to continuously refine strategies and optimize engagement outcomes
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A university degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in healthcare marketing engagement strategy, or related roles
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, HCP and patient dynamics, and effective engagement strategies
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful engagement campaigns across multiple channels
- Proven experience with healthcare omnichannel strategy development
- Excellent in data analysis and leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions
- Intellectual curiosity paired with affinity and aptitude for creative problem solving
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
