As part of our Nordic Expansion Plan, we are looking for an experienced account handler to join our Danish team, to support in the day-to-day business operations of our team, as well as supporting and leading on client relationships and new business activities alongside the Senior Vice President (SVP), Tina Hahn.


As a senior account handler, you will:

  • Demonstrate strong consultancy skills, building trusted client relationships and establishing position as a key client contact
  • Lead on medium-sized predefined programmes, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high quality
  • Assume responsibility for profitability of designated client programmes
  • Provide support in all aspects of business development, from identifying growth opportunities, through to supporting new business opportunities
  • Add value to the agency and its network beyond day-to-day client account work
  • Invest time in developing team members within the agency

This role will also deal with the following activities, in conjunction with the SVP

  • Researching and providing insights to create a client growth plan within the Nordics
  • Actively engaging with target clients relating to the NEP
  • Supporting with implementation of the NEP with regards to the team and office
  • Helping with operational aspects of the Danish office (e.g. office set-up, organising socials)
  • Face-to-face interactions with Nordic clients (to manage existing relationships and grow new business)

As well as working closely with the Danish team, this role will also work with AXON colleagues based in Europe, Canada and US to manage client relationships day-to-day.

  • Strong financial and timeline management capabilities
  • Relationship development skills, including client management and networking
  • Ability to forward plan and adjust team resource with senior support to meet evolving client needs
  • Good writing skills
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills
  • A proactive, solutions-orientated attitude
  • The flexibility to operate both strategically and tactically
  • The ability to multi-task and turn their hand to multiple internal and external initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills (within client projects and with our Danish team)
