With strong growth year on year over the past 5 years, AXON’s Real-World practice has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join its dynamic, friendly, international team.
This exciting role includes managing client relationships and providing effective counsel to clients, managing a variety of projects and budgets, and supporting with new business activities. A key component of the role will be publications management, so previous experience in this is essential; however, the role will also give you the opportunity to work across a variety of other types of projects. The team is at a particularly exciting stage in its growth and development at present, so there is tremendous potential for you to really make your mark.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Management of multiple accounts across one or more clients
- Managing client relationships, leading formal client meetings, and providing effective counsel to clients
- Developing, reviewing, and managing project plans, status tables, and budgets
- Managing the process of developing publications (abstracts, posters, and manuscripts) and pulling in writing resources as appropriate
- Managing multiple account priorities with essential business responsibilities
- Identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, including supporting new business development efforts through research, proposal development, and pitching
- Collaborating with all offices across the AVENIR GLOBAL network

Whether that be through online learning, classroom training, or attending external events; that is 1 week a year dedicated to your development.
The ideal candidate
You will be:
- An individual with strong account/project management experience spent in an agency environment, in medical communications, real-world research, or market access
- An individual with publication management and up to date with respect to your understanding of standard publication practices and relevant publication and authorship guidelines
- Keen to use your excellent writing, presentation, and creative thinking skills
- Interested in real-world evidence
- A team-focused person with a drive to develop, as an individual, and within a team
- From a strong scientific background, educated to a minimum degree level in life sciences (MSc/PhD advantageous)
