As a leader in insights, the Senior Global Healthcare Insights Manager will work together with the Global Insights Director to plan, design and oversee primary and secondary research projects that yield meaningful and valuable information that can be translated into actionable strategies.

The Senior Global Healthcare Insights Manager will:

  • Provide clients with effective counsel, determine the core business problem to be solved through insights, recommend innovative and strategic insights solutions, and ensure quality control throughout the insights process
  • Support and drive insights and research across the AXON business, supporting across service areas (Clinical Studies, Marketing, Advocacy, Communications, Real-World and Medical)
  • Guide the translation of research findings into clear, presentable, and actionable strategic and tactical recommendations that inform clients’ business objectives
  • Contribute to AXON’s growing Insights function to assess, standardize, and improve existing capabilities while developing and nurturing new approaches

In addition, this individual will play a key role in business development and planning and support the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and oversee primary and secondary research programs, with the support of the Global Insights Director as needed
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across services and offices to embed insights services
  • Support learning and growth of the team through management and coaching of direct reports and account team members
  • Actively participate in new business development and support other functions in the business with strategic insights
  • Clearly communicate information to different audiences, with a focus on plain language
  • Ensure quality control throughout the insights process

Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field (science, sociology, marketing, business, statistics, anthropology, etc.). Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in primary or secondary market research role or insights at a global agency, in insights consulting, or client side. Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals preferred.
  • Experience demonstrating Proficiency in quantitative research and/or in qualitative research
  • Applicants with quantitative research experience should be proficient in at least one data analysis package
  • Applicants with qualitative research experience should include: research material development, IDIs, and focus groups for sensitive topics with patients and physicians
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to drive insights into actionable recommendations through compelling story telling
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to convey complex ideas succinctly and with great precision
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously; has experience in and enjoys fast paced environments
