Today, AXON has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2023 by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture.

If integrity, respect and working with caring colleagues who are making a difference matters to you when thinking about your career – then choose AXON!

Our commitment to our staff is evident, and we are delighted to have significantly jumped up the rankings. Once again, we have been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ (2023) for medium-sized businesses by Great Place to Work®.

AXON has made the list for eight years running; last year we ranked #77 and this year we have moved up to #57. Previously we have received the Best Workplaces for Women and Best Workplaces for Wellbeing awards.

Employees are happy with the environment we create and grateful for the benefits that we know make a difference.

Ralph Sutton, AVENIR GLOBAL International Manager Partner, and AXON President, said: “We are delighted to have this recognition once again, and to hear the feedback from our employees. The people make our business what it is. We want them to thrive and to have a positive experience so we can achieve great things together.”

The results for this year’s rankings are based on employee responses to an anonymised survey (November 2022), as well as a culture audit.

The Great Place to Work® UK survey revealed that 98% of AXON’s employees said, ‘people are treated fairly, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender, and age’. The survey showed that 95% of employees confirmed that when joining AXON they were made to feel welcome, and 96% believe our facilities at Riverside House (Southwark, London) contribute to a good working environment.

Our benefits are appreciated and one of the perks employees enjoy is a four-week sabbatical after five years’ employment. We also give employees private health insurance, an annual wellness package and inclusion in our bonus scheme. We care about the social side too; our teams work hard, so how can we help them avoid burnout? During the summer we encourage people to log off early on a Friday to enjoy the longer days and time with family and friends.

One employee said in their feedback: “This company has a very friendly and supportive culture. As a team, regardless of position, someone is always available for advice, and we all genuinely want to see each other succeed”.

Another employee said: “Equality and inclusion are considered at every step and the DE&I committee provide practical information to make everyone feel valued”.

AXON’s mantra is to ignite change in healthcare. We do this by listening to our clients, listening to our colleagues, and hiring the right people. We believe that bringing together different ideas is powerful and necessary for our talented teams to keep achieving success.

“As the global authority on workplace culture, our mission at Great Place to Work® has always been to build a better world by helping organisations become a great place to work for all. We strongly believe in the notion of ‘better for business, better for people, better for the world”, said Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK.
