The 2022 UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women list was launched this morning by Great Place to Work® UK, recognizing AXON among 263 ranked organizations.

The UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women award acknowledges that AXON offers a collaborative, flexible and supportive environment, with practices and processes to ensure the support of development, engagement, and well-being of women. AXON is pleased to have a 100% return-to-work rate after maternity and boasts an excellent gender-diversity record, with 58% of the London Senior Leadership Team being female.

“We are delighted that AXON is awarded as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women for the fifth year in a row,“ said Ralph Sutton, International Managing Partner of AXON, and its parent company AVENIR GLOBAL. “We pride ourselves in providing an accommodating and caring work environment for every employee, while ensuring that they have a say on how we can improve our policies. To be recognized for this accolade is telling us that the way we are operating is making a meaningful difference to the lives of our employees, and importantly, motivates us to do more for all of them.”

AXON is launching a Menopause Policy this year, which will look at how to better support individuals in the workplace and at home. AXON will also continue to run several diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) educational initiatives throughout the year to foster an inclusive and fair workplace for all, which is deeply embedded in the company’s culture. The Great Place to Work® UK survey revealed that 97% of AXON’s employees said that “people are treated fairly regardless of their gender.”

For AXON to ignite change in healthcare through meaningful communication powered by diverse thinking, it is critical that every employee voice is heard. The company believes that by bringing together different ideas, it can truly harness the power of its talented team.

“Now in its fifth year, our 2022 list showcases the largest collection of Best Workplaces™ for Women that the UK has ever recognized. These results are based on what women themselves have anonymously reported to us about their workplace experience and how well represented they are in the workforce and management. Ensuring people aren’t discriminated against, placing positive value on our differences, creating fair access and advancement for all, and fostering a sense of value and empowerment in employees is what being a Great Place to Work® is all about. Only by first identifying the gaps in workers’ experiences can organizations truly take action to close them, which is why analyzing employee experience is important. We are proud that the data and insights we provide organizations helps on that continuous journey – and it’s wonderful to celebrate so many Best Workplaces™ for Women this year, across all sectors and organizational sizes,” explains Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK.
