Q. What has been the highlight of your communications career so far?
A. In my previous role as a media specialist I use to jump in and out of programs all the time. At one point I jumped into a client to support their products approval and to conduct the media relations around the announcement. After meeting and working with the client for a few weeks, at the end of approval week I received flowers to my home thanking me for my work. Seeing the appreciation from clients has been great!

Q. What is the best piece of comms advice you’ve ever been given?
A. Always give timely feedback, in the moment.

Q. Which media source do you trust most?
A. I don’t trust one source, I view several media sources but I love NBC Channel 4 in NYC!

Q. What company/brand would you most like to work on?
A. No one specific brand as along as I am helping people.

Q. Which communicator do you most admire? (Past or present)
A. Lester Holt. He is always professional and shares information properly.

Q. What is your top comms tip?
A. Follow your gut! Always do your due diligence but if it doesn’t feel right, or even if it does, go with your gut.

Q. The best thing about working in comms is…
A. The diversity of our work and audiences.

Q. If I wasn’t in comms I would…
A. Event planning.

Q. Tell us something that very few people know about you.
A. I was Sandy in Grease when I was in sleep-away camp.

Q. When I’m not working I like to…
A. Spend time with my husband and kids and go spinning at Flywheel!
