Q. What has been the highlight of your communications career so far?
A. Giving meaning and focus to the voices of millions of women with uterine fibroids and endometriosis through social media.
Q. What is the best piece of comms advice you’ve ever been given?
A. Everything is personal. The minute you forget about the beating heart is the moment you’re no longer communicating.
Q. Which media source do you trust most?
A. Word-of-mouth from trusted sources is by far the best source. After that, CNN, NYT and the WSJ.
Q. What company/brand would you most like to work on?
A. Anything in Alzheimer’s. The voice of consumers and their caregivers has been silenced by inattention from the pharma industry.
Q. Which communicator do you most admire? (Past or present)
A. Richard Branson. Regardless of the project or cause, he always remembers how to tell a story and bring this audience through the details.
Q. What is your top comms tip?
A. Before having someone proof your work, remove 10% of the words. Make sure to eliminate “sorry”, “just” and “that” from all future use.

A. Creating conversations that change people’s lives.

A. Own a florist shop.
