Q. What has been the highlight of your communications career so far?
A. Winning new business is always the highlight.
Q. What is the best piece of comms advice you’ve ever been given?
A. Our number one job is to make the client look good.
Q. Which media source do you trust most?
A. The mainstream media is sometimes political and biased which can make it difficult to develop an informed opinion on a subject. I try to gather as much information as possible from various sources, but the best sources are direct ones such as Twitter, blogs and Instagram
Q. What company/brand would you most like to work on?
A. The Park City Mountain Resort, or any large ski resort for that matter. Or The Weather Channel.
Q. Which communicator do you most admire? (Past or present)
A. That’s a tough one and can be answered in many ways. Some who come to mind who I like to listen to, in no particular order, are Jim Cramer, Chris Berman, Rudy Giuliani, Ronald Reagan, John Madden and Carly Fiorina.
Q. What is your top comms tip?
A. Try to be clear but always be honest.
Q. The best thing about working in comms is…
A. With so many facets, it is always changing and always challenging.
Q. If I wasn’t in comms I would…
A. Be a land developer, making deals and living and skiing in Park City, Utah in the winter and hanging out “down the Jersey shore” in the summer.
Q. Tell us something that very few people know about you.
A. I played strong safety for the Rutgers University Varsity Lightweight football team.
Q. When I’m not working I like to…
A. Go on vacations (preferably ski vacations), ski, fine dine, drink wine, and generally be with my family and friends.
